This webinar presented findings from UNEP’s global report on gender and e-mobility. Further, UNEP’s implementing partner ITDP, shared key insights from the national-level study on gendered aspects of e-mobility in Indonesia, which formed part of the global report.

About the Speakers

Annika Berlin, Programme Management Officer, Sustainable Mobility Unit, United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP),  has over 14 years of experience with development institutions across Africa, Latin America, and Asia. She leads UNEP’s Africa Support and Investment Platform, the Global Working Group on Electric Two- and Three-Wheelers and manages the unit’s gender and e-mobility portfolio.

Deliani Poetriayu Siregar,Urban Planner and Inclusivity Manager, Institute for Transportation & Development Policy (ITDP) Indonesia,  has over 8 years of experience in sustainable urban development. Specializing in Gender Equity, Disability, and Social Inclusion (GEDSI), she has led inclusive urban transport projects across Indonesia, Pakistan, and Azerbaijan, focusing on just transitions and ensuring positive impacts for vulnerable groups.

The Asian Development Bank launched the E-Mobility Support and Investment Platform for Asia and the Pacific, with the support by the Global Environment Facility (GEF) and other partners, for bringing together practitioners and to support the scale-up of e-mobility in the region. The platform aims to become a centre of knowledge for supporting a just transition towards net-zero pathways.
